How Topture Reviews selects customer feedback

Topture Reviews applies the same written rules to every review it retrieves. This page describes those rules, the review platforms used and what happens when a platform is unavailable.

Where do the reviews come from?

Review text comes from Judge.me, the review app that collects product and store reviews on Topture.com. Topture also has a public Trustpilot profile. Trustpilot’s rules allow its reviews to be shown elsewhere only through its paid services, so Trustpilot reviews are not reproduced here; the profile is linked instead.

At the last update, 463 published 4- and 5-star Judge.me reviews were checked and 64 reviews met the sauna rules below.

Which reviews are included?

Published 4- and 5-star reviews that relate to a Topture sauna, sauna heater or sauna accessory. Unpublished reviews and reviews rated 1, 2 or 3 stars are never shown.

Why does the archive show only 4- and 5-star reviews?

The archive is designed as a collection of positive sauna-related customer feedback. It is a filtered selection, not a representative sample, and it does not show Topture's full rating distribution. Every rating, including lower ones, remains visible on the original platforms.

Which products are included?

Saunas (indoor, outdoor, traditional, infrared, hybrid, barrel, cabin and cube saunas), sauna heaters (electric heaters, wood-burning sauna stoves and heater packages) and accessories directly related to installing, operating or using a sauna or sauna heater, such as heater controls, sauna stones, guard rails, chimney kits and sauna lighting.

Which products are excluded?

Reviews of products that are not saunas, sauna heaters or sauna accessories, including products Topture sold in the past: towels, robes, blankets, grills and griddles, fireplaces and hearth products, home wood stoves, furniture, patio furniture, outdoor kitchens, steam showers, hot tubs, whirlpool tubs, cold plunges, outdoor showers, red light therapy devices and fitness equipment.

How is product relevance determined?

A Judge.me product review is judged by the product it is attached to, using the product's category, title and tags in the Topture.com catalogue. The product decides relevance, so a short review such as “Great service” on a sauna product is included, and a review mentioning heat on a grill is not. A store review with no product attached is included only when its text names a sauna, a sauna brand or a sauna model sold by Topture.

How are product associations checked?

Before a review appears on a product page, its text is compared with Topture's catalogue of sauna models. If a review attached to one product names a different model of the same kind and never names its own product, it is held back from that product's page until a person checks it. Such reviews can still appear elsewhere, labelled with the product they are listed under on Judge.me.

How are review titles and text handled?

Titles and text are shown exactly as supplied by the platform. Spelling, grammar and wording are never edited. The only changes are line-break formatting and removing a title that is repeated word for word at the start of the text. When a reviewer wrote no title, the heading names the product instead of inventing one. Replies from Topture are labelled “Topture response”. Reviewer names are shown as first name and last initial; email addresses, order numbers and other private details are never shown.

How are verified-buyer labels handled?

A label such as “Verified buyer” or “Verified purchase” appears only when the originating platform reports that status for the review. Topture Reviews never adds a verification label itself.

How are duplicate reviews detected?

A review returned more than once by a platform is shown once. When the same reviewer posts identical text on the same platform, only the earliest copy is shown.

How is cross-platform matching determined?

When substantially the same customer review appears on more than one platform, it is shown once with an “Also published on” link. Identical text is required, or near-identical text that also agrees on the reviewer's name, the review date and the rating or product. Two different reviews are never linked because both are positive, and a match does not mean the platforms verified each other.

When do people override the rules?

Topture staff can include a review whose sauna connection the rules cannot detect, exclude a misclassified review, or confirm that a flagged review really is about its product. Every override is recorded with a reason. Overrides cannot publish unpublished reviews or reviews rated below 4 stars.

When does a product or brand get its own page?

A product page is created once a product has at least 2 qualifying reviews that clearly concern it. A brand page needs at least 5 qualifying reviews, and a category page is indexed from 3. Products with fewer reviews stay in the category pages and the full archive instead of receiving thin pages.

How often is the site refreshed?

Each review platform is checked automatically about every 6 hours, so new qualifying reviews appear without manual work. The “Updated” date on each page is the last time the reviews were retrieved successfully.

What happens if a review platform is unavailable?

The most recently retrieved reviews stay on the site and the page states that the platform is temporarily unavailable. A platform outage is never shown as zero reviews, and the “Updated” date does not change until a retrieval succeeds.

Who maintains ToptureReviews.com?

Topture maintains ToptureReviews.com. Topture is an online retailer attopture.com that sells saunas, sauna heaters and sauna equipment. The site is not an independent review publication; customer review text comes from the platforms named on each review. Questions can be sent through Topture's contact page.
