Great Workhorse, but Be Mindful of the Controls.
This is a solid, reliable heater that has never given us a moment of trouble. The stainless steel construction looks great and feels durable. It heats our medium-sized barrel sauna efficiently, even in cold weather. The built-in time and temp controls are easy to use; the delay start is a major plus for planning sessions.

My one small critique is the placement of the dials: they're located low on the unit, so you have to lean way down to adjust them. If you prefer adjusting the heat while you're sitting, you might consider an external control model. But if you value reliability and want to save money by avoiding a separate control unit, the KIP with built-ins is a fantastic choice.

You can't beat the KIP for value and function. We have the 6kW model in our modest 7x7 indoor sauna, and it performs perfectly. The built-in controls are exactly what we wanted. I love that I can set the delay timer in the morning and have the sauna hot and waiting for me after work. It heats up quickly (under 45 minutes to 170°F).
